Digital Natives/Digital Immigrants
( Reflection Paper)

Objective:
Understand the direction that technology affects the learning styles of students (Millenials) in today's educational system.

Learning Outcomes:
As a result of the reading and research:

• Understand your own tech knowledge, talents and shortfalls.
• Understand how today's students think, learn, behave and how that affects their education.

Coursework Procedure:
Please read the article by Prensky regarding Digital Natives/Digital Immigrants. See where you fit in the mix. Consider some of the points he brings up. Then write a one to two page reflection on your reading. In your reflecton paper please examine the following:

• Where do you fit into the mix of digital natives and digital immigrants?
• Do you know any digital natives? Have you seen how they behave around technology? Describe and reflect on what you may have noticed.
• Do a bit of Internet research and see if you can find any articles that address the way student's today learn and how technology is being integrated into the curriculum (please make sure to cite any article you reference).
• Add your opinion to the discussion regarding digital native behavior.
